It’s nearly here

Hi everyone

Our workshop is very nearly here – Tuesday evening at 7.30 pm we will be ready for the off with scissors, sticky tape, punches, etc.  All very exciting and we are looking forward to meeting everyone.

We still have places available, so do get in touch if you would like to join us – and don’t forget we will have cake!

This week’s workshop will include a mix of decoupage cards (there will be a variety of designs to chose from) and those decorated with rubber stamps, and other gorgeous embellishments.  We both have a Big Shot machine, so there will be no need to wait too long for one to be free to use.  I bought a great alphabet die last week, so I am looking forward to seeing how people use that, as well as the other embossing folders we both have.

Don ‘t forget, if you want to join us, please do get in touch with us on our email address:  thecraftycats@outlook.com

Counting down to our first workshop

Hi everyone

We have been busy over the last couple of weeks planning the content of our workshop and are really looking forward to having a great time with you lovely card-makers out there.  Whether you are new to card-making or are an ‘old-hand’, this workshop is ideal and will be good fun.  It will be a great opportunity to learn new techniques, re-visit ones you haven’t used for a while and even better, share your skills with other keen crafters – and you will be able to use lots of great crafting tools.

If you haven’t already registered for the course or would like more information, please do get in touch as we still have places available – and don’t forget to tell your friends about the workshop too.

Introducing Two Crafty Cats’ first craft workshop

Hello everyone

A brand new blog for a brand new venture.   We both love crafting and have been crazy, happy crafters for a long time.  As with most craft-lovers, we have tried lots of different things: jewellery, card-making, gift tags, pottery,  fabric wreaths, wedding stationery, candles – you name it, one of us and more often both of us will have done it.   If we haven’t you can bet it is on our list of ‘must-do’s’

We are busily planning our first joint craft workshop which is specifically for card-making.  We have lots of other ideas for workshops, such as Christmas cards,  jewellery, fabric wreaths and lots of other gorgeous crafty things you can make with us.

Our first work shop takes place on Tuesday, 11 June, from 7.30 pm – 9.30 pm at the Normandy Therapy Garden,  Manor Fruit Farm, Glaziers Lane, Normandy, Surrey, GU3 2DT (this venue has plenty of free parking right on the doorstep).  The cost of the course is £15.00, payable in advance, which includes materials (cards, envelopes, embellishments, glitter, etc) for you to make at least three greetings cards.

You will be able to use lots of crafty equipment: the Sizzix Big Shot, Martha Stewart punches, lovely Stampin’ Up stamps and we will be demonstrating various craft techniques.  The only thing we would like you to bring with you is a pair of scissors – small ones are preferable as there will be some cutting-out of small pieces of card/paper to do.

This would be a great get-together event for a group of friends.  If you would like to book a place or need some more information, please do get in touch on our Crafty Cats email:

thecraftycats@outlook.com

Hope to see you on 11 June.
